Risk Management Training.

This course, which can be delivered in-house, has been designed to provide managers and relevant employees with the knowledge and skills to manage risk and carry out risk assessments in the workplace.  It will assist management in fulfilling their legal responsibility to carry out risk assessments under the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.

The course is highly interactive and assists participants in identifying specific workplace hazards while providing an update on current legislation. A step by step approach is taken in examining the risk assessment process which equips learners with an increased level of awareness when assessing their own workplace. Suitable methods of controlling hazards are considered and discussed, including the hierarchy of control.

A practical hands-on session is also included where learners are given the opportunity to complete risk assessments applicable to their own premises and real-life situations.
